Haven't researched it much, but anybody using the Megan Racing manifold? Just asking cause it's cheaper.

Quick Note RE: DNP Manifold

Mechanic just told me that turbo flange on my DNP, is also warped!!? So had to be built up and re-faced as exhaust was escaping between turbo and flange...hmmm

The crack i mentioned earlier was actually not a crack...but a spot that was not welded perfect...as it could be seen that some weld was missing?? go figure.

O well, I guess I got the one made on a 'Friday'..LOL

I still have no complaints about the SSAutochrome manifold. I quit trying to crack it (cold weather glowing hot runs in the rain), and have just "forgotten about it"... because it is doing what it is supposed to.

You guys can take this for what it's worth. I built a custom header for the stock turbo on my RS and tested it yesterday. Results were disapointing. If the header I built didn't make any power than I am going to say that these exact stock location replacement headers definetely will not. You money is better off spent elsewhere.

The header hurt spool up the most and had a loss in whp everywhere.

The stock manifold ported and ceramic coated is what was on the car the previous runs on the dyno.

David, do you sell a stock ported/coated manifold? I don't remember seeing it on your site.

Yes, we do, you can find pictures and prices on our website if you want to take a look. Right now I have ported parts but they are not coated, I need to send out another batch.

Anyone actully use that EbAy Exhaust Manifold and 02 housing? When it says 304 SS and so on, the number denotes the thinkness?

I am also willing to bet a ported and Coated Stock Manifold will work better then most of these attrqactive tubular manifolds. One reason is Dave wasted 5 hours of his life time on this project here....

I am curious how much a ported/coated Exhaust manofld would cost from you provided I give you my Core? I would also like a dyno result of that Cheapo EbAy manifold that is on the 1st page. Thanks alot guys.

I just ordered the cheap Ebay header and 02 housing myself. Going to give it a shot and see what happens. I'll post the results over in our DYNO thread.
