What power will it make on good old 93 octane though? It is safe to assume the "525 (crank) hp" rating is on race gas...

the GT28 is a great turbo However its a hair bigger than our stock turbo( not smaller) it spools better because its dual BB. I would go for the 3071 as it spools 200~300 later than stock but its has a great top end (my opinion)
Here is the dyno that someone from AMS posted in another thread. This is the 3076 and I would say race gas of some sorts since they are running 26psi. What can this turbo do with pump gas, say 22psi, and AEM ? Will it make 400whp on pump? From this graph it seems like it is much more daily friver friendly than the GT35R but will still have plenty of punch.
I have the new BR GT30R going on the car this week and Al is doing the tune the first week of November, I will let you guys know how goes. I will also post some pics Monday when I get it (come on UPS).

The 3071 that ATP sales and the 3076 that AMS has are not off shelf turbos. I dont know about the BR one but if it is off shelf GT30R it will lag. as you see in the dyno above this guy made 200 whp on 4k and i am making same whp at same RPm too. the 3071 and the 3076 are the best turbos out there for track and daily driving in my opinion
