Fidanza Aluminum Flywheels
I remember someone, maybe RRE can't remember, stating that the ACT paired up with the fidanzay flywheel is a lighter weight set up than anything Exedy offers, if it means anything, the ACT clutch from RRE with the heavy duty disc actually uses an Exedy disc.
I remember seeing that, I just don't remember where... a few pounds lighter.
I'm thinking about trying the "KUSH - LOCK" from http://www.clutchnet.com/make/prodDesc.html#airLok with maybe an ACT PP.
They worked really well in higher HP Hondas where some were breaking axles.

...I've used them in the past. Everyone who used the KUSH - LOCK with a ACT PP really liked them on the turbo'd Type Rs and SC Integras. It would be interesteing to see how they fair on a 3300lb AWD.
here's an option for you Zeus. During the beginning of this summer I sold my stock pressure plate to a member on here who's ACT clutch was improperly installed causing damage to his ACT pressure plate. He talked to the guys at ACT and they said that if he would send in a stock pressure plate then they would heat treat it and work their magic on it, the same process they put all of their pressure plates through. So I bet if you wanted you could just find someone's old stocker from them here on the forums, send it off to ACT and then you wouldn't have to waste money on the ACT disc since you'd be providing your own from clutchnet.
i have been debating these same clutch questiosn myself. So the Fidanza flywheel with an ACT Clutch is the best way to go? Or at least the cheapest way to go. I have driven the Exedy twin and it is beautful, although the Centerforce Stage 3 isn't bad either. Both clutches have their chatter, I think this is something we will have to live with.
I went with prostreet on the ACT MB7-HDSS kit (this is a street set up) and with RRE on the Fidanza. Prostreet shipped same and I have the product now. RRE is delayed as they ship the day after order. Super people on both accounts and will post oppinion on the setup after I get my car back and the clutch disk is properly mated to the fw and PP. Cudos to you guys for all your excellent advice.
