Boost controller OFF

Just wondering, I have a GReddy Profec B spec II EBC, if I were to turn if off or at least set all of its values to 0 in efect turning it off would that cause the stock boost level or something aproacing it to be returned to my Evo? I just want a way to get my car about 50 miles to have it tuned and the boost controller professionally dialed in without causeing damage. I know I could just set it really low but would that then cause a problem cause the evos ECU would then be causing the car to run way to rich cause its looking for the stock 19psi of boost and I would be setting it much lower. if turned off would this just restore the factory boost settings or whut would happen? thanxs

If you turn it off your car will run around 11 psi max (which is determined by the wastegate)since you've disconnected the stock boost solenoid to install the ebc. Just set the ebc to 17 psi if you are worried about it, or just go easy on the throttle. You won't get anywhere near peak boost levels if you shift low (below 3K) and don't lean into the throttle. Lower boost won't necessarily cause it to go rich because the MAF signal will be lower off boost. HTH.
