Blow off/Forge recirc question. No its not a ricer one...
Hey,
I have a Forge recirc as well. Mine is installed "upside-down" from stock orientation.
It used to flutter like that, which made partial throttle driveability pretty poor. I know what you mean about driving to avoid it from happening. Hopefully, this is flutter, and not compressor surge, which would be bad for the turbo.
Anyway, recently I replaced all my stock hose clamps with t-bolt clamps and got Samco hoses. It made a tremendous difference in holding boost, boost response, and even releasing boost. I can let off the throttle quickly, or slowly, and I get a nice wooooosh. Make the car so much nicer to drive. I did try to tighten all my clamps before, but the stock clamps are crap and easy to strip. I would at least check all the clamps and if possible replace with t-bolts or go with hard piping.
I like the samco hoses, definitely don't expand like the stock flex hose, but perf increase is probably minimal, so it's more for peace of mind.
Take care,
FB

For the short time I had mine in, I had it in backwards with the yellow spring/ no shims. It held a ton of boost without leaking and only fluttered when backing off the throttle in 5th gear.
