Like when you are in trafic and you want your car to just roll in first and second gear without giving it any gas?

if you are just letting your car barely roll in first, barely smashing the gas, my car starts to buck back and forth until I push the clutch in or give her some more gas.

nothing at all

it idles rough when rolling at a low speed but it doesnt make it rough

im running stock cam gears too

I havent lost ANY drivabilty with mine, in fact i gained some

The only bad part about 272's is the idle. But i love the idle!

^Concur! Just off idle you need to give a little more gas and slip the clutch a little more or it will buck for a second.

um idle is the only bad thing, even after cam gears, my car still seems to hunt for stoich a/f ratio, causing the car to idle drop up and down. Loping doesnt bother me.

Yep, it bucks as described above. Low end torque improved ( on the butt dyno).

Low end seems slightly lower than stock to me, spool takes a little longer too, but from 5000rpm to redline it kicks ***! I'm running EMS, so idle is okay.

Thanks guys.

2 more questions since you are answering that quickly.

1. If you were to do it all over again - would you still put 272-272?
2. Will I loose that initial turbo punch with this setup?

If you advance the 272's 2 degrees each, you get lots of torque from 3k on up.

I like em.

I'm not sure I would go straight 272's again since I don't drag it. I also don't have cam gears, so are you saying if I get cam gears and run them at +2, +2, I'll get more low end/midrange torque?

Yep, but you're effectively lowering the motor's resistance to detonation, so you may have to knock boost down a psi or two. But when it hits at 3k, it's like a fat chick sitting on your chest...or something.
