T-Sport is based in Australia. Ultimate Racing stocks them for like $110 USD, plus shipping.

I can do a write up on it. Just give me a couple of days to lay it all out so that I am throrough.

Since the 05s have a preset 5k rpm launch built into the ECUs, I wonder if we could get our ECUs reflashed to have this feature as well. It would be even better if there was an adjustable rpm launch feature.

I remember having this mod on my 1g DSM's TMO ECU, also known as the "stutterbox". It was pretty sweet being able to adjust the launch rpm on the fly.

I'm sure importing the code from the '05 is easily do-able, but I think its a matter of getting the vendors (with the flashing equipment) to incorperate this.

Just because someone drives a domestic does NOT mean that he knows what he is talking about. Thanks, though.
I agree and never said anything about domestic drivers vs. import drivers. I said "around people who know" and that is not necessarily domestic drivers. Having a Ford does not make you smarter, I assure you! And you're welcome.

When you first use it, it isn't as smooth as the TMO's stutterbox. It's actually quite coarse at first. It seems like after the ECU "learns" it, it starts to smooth itself out. However, even with the fuel cut going on, I still see a ton of black smoke comming out the back when this thing is active and I am WOT. Now all I need to do is hook a spark plug up to my exhaust pipe and.....

Oh and BTW, I completely disengaged the 'safety' switch for the clutch upon start up...I don't need to depress it anymore to start the car up, how does this effect the 'no lift gas pedal' function between shifting?

You'll need to re-install it, unless you are mounting another switch.

The TMO ECU used the cruise control switch to activate the two step rev limiter. The cruise control switch is located at the top of the clutch pedal travel and not the bottom like the clutch start switch.

Hmm.. my evo's clutch switch engages almost at the top.. not all the way down.. I have a launch control in my UTEC, but the flat shifting is a little annoying when you set it for 3800rpm (which is where I would try to launch my car at)

I had to solder like 6-7 wires total.

All but 2 of them are at the ECU. The other two are in the engine bay, on the fire wall, next to the ABS brake controler.
