Evonoir, did you check the freeze frame on that 171 code? Did this happen at idle? I wouldn't worry about lack of performance if it did.
I think the only fix is going stand alone so you can fine tune the rough edges in the air/fuel mix at every rpm.
But if anybody out there knows away around it please chime in.

i added fuel to +40 at the specific spot at idle and it richened up and idled better. it went to 11's afr which is too rich for idle. at +20 or so it would be leaner than 15 afr. i dont understand it. is it bad injectors?

If it started when you installed injectors, then maybe that's where you should start looking.
Even if you Ohm's those out and got perfect readings . That doesn't mean their poning up all the way .It's possible that one or more of the are getting stuck halfway restricting fuel flow.
I'd swap the stock ones in just so to find out if I can make the idle at perfect AFR.
Then I'd say the problem would be your injectors.

update, i did more trouble shooting: i took off my fuel map from the emanage. so basically it should be running the stock ecu map. it idled the same. but, when i gave it gas it was richer now... in fact, it would go into the 10's afr with higher boost(around 10 psi). so, either my ecu completely changed stock fuel maps, or one or more injector is still messing up. i think nad you may be right. if the ohms were correct the ecu wouild think the injectors are functioning properly. but the ohm could be right and it could physically be held back in some way hindering the amount of fuel being injected... im not going to boost it up any more for fear that one cylinder may be not getting the fuel, and the others are good. i dont want to F-up a cylinder. does this sound like i could be right? if the injectors, or injector is bad, i think i might need to do a compression test. i havent seen any signs of a blown or melted ring but it is possible. makes me wish i had an egt sensor after every cylinder.
also, i just pulled all the spark plugs... 2 were more lean looking than the others. but i am not good at diagnosing spark plugs. i know white means lean... but these are a dusty white top with a black sooty bottom. there is no sign of heat or melting so that is good. would i notice a big difference in the plug of one cylinder if the injector is messed up over one that is not?
found the problem! it was the injectors. i swaped the stockers back in, initialized my emanage... and walla. it drive normal. but i do notice it drives noticably richer than with the stock intectors before because i have a fuel rail and fpr set to 47psi. but, i miss having the torque. those injectors supplied great fuel for torque! well, i paid a good deal of money for 780 cc injectors, and they went bad... so im buying 880's tomorrow!
