Oil Leak After My Oil Change

So I did a routine oil change -> removed drain plug, cleaned it, took out filter replaced it, put drain plug back, tightened the bolt and filter and then poured new oil. I didnt notice any oil after putting in the oil. I drove for a couple of days and after parking my car in the garage and waking up the next morning I noticed a small puddle of oil under my car. I retightened the bolt and drove around and once again there was a small puddle, I even made sure the filter was on tight. Do I need to get a new washer for the drain plug, cause that seems to be where some people are having problems?

Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

yeah. i always put a new crush washer. did have an interseting problem once though. i always got my filter and brass crush washer from my local dealer (east providence mitsu), but when i was ordering my oem gear fluid and radio relocation kit from mitsubishiparts.net, i decided to grab a filter and washer too. well the washer was silver and it looked like it was two pieces put together (not like the brass one which is obviously one piece). everytime i had to do work under the car (yes i'm always under it. lol) i notice a little bit of oil drip on the pan when that silver washer was on there. never had any problems with any of the brass ones. moral of the story. ask for the brass one.
