my new Borla Manifold just cracked

Ya so i had this manifold on maybe a month and its cracked already, not sure if i just had a lemon or bad luck but i think when i change turbos im goin with Buschur's GT35R kit because they use cast and i just hate dealing with problems...

Call the vendor you got it from. Borla has excellent customer service and will take care of this.

Interesting. They have a million mile warranty. Too bad it doesn't cover your time every time you have to take it off to get it fixed.

You aren't the only one. People with WRXs/STis have cracked Borla header, just check www.nasioc.com. I'm starting to see a trend here ... hrm

i'd probably buy 2 so theres less downtime
thats the price you pay for an equal length header.

full-race mani's don't crack like that.

full race manifolds certainly crack. It's a problem period when you use thinner wall tubing and are pushing high EGTs with a lot of heat cycling. The ultimate, I suppose, would be a nice inconel manifold, but unlike the VW world, I don't see anyone making them for this car. You'd think it would be done too, given the extreme turbos people are inclined to run.

Good luck w/ that, but like Geo said, Borla should make good on that in a timely manner.
