If you got the money go Full-Race TS HTA35R.

William254 Aug 14, 2009 01:57 PM

haha yeah money is a prob but u gotta pay to play.

thats y i wanna take my time and make the right choice.
i want the best street turbo possible that makes the biggest power!

For the best combination of spool, top end, quality parts and your budget of those options I would wholeheartedly pick the ETS TS HTA35R kit. You won't be mad about spool time and you won't be wishing you'd gone bigger later because that setup is absolutely vicious on the top end.

Tom

When do you hit full boost on this turbo?

William254 Aug 14, 2009 02:53 PM

ive heard between 4300-4500 on the stock 2 liter
and red like 3800-4000

red03evo Aug 14, 2009 03:15 PM

what are you going to be doing with the car exactly?

road course? autocross? drag racing? just driving to work? I asked because you mentioned lag.

William254 Aug 14, 2009 03:25 PM

drag, road course and driving to work lol
but drag and street driving mostly. any thoughts??

slowr_evo Aug 14, 2009 03:28 PM

yup, go with the HTA 3586...great set-up with plenty o' power

red03evo Aug 14, 2009 03:28 PM

You really have to examine what do you want out of your setup. Myself personally, I don't mind lag of a big turbo but in my younger days I had a few hondas so I had to wait for vtec to kick in, so its no different then having a big turbo on my evo other than I actually have some torque now, lol.

Just think about what you what out of the car and how you would like it to perform and decide what you want.

Just be patient and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

Good luck.

I would say double pumper and atleast 1450cc -1600cc (with E85 on high boost)
