Arrow help me decide! FP RED or Twin-scroll hta

ok so ive been wanting a red for quite some time now and hav recently been researching the twin scroll hta35r. my friend has an open scroll 35r and the lag is terrible!! i also dont want to buy a red(80mm) and get it and want to go bigger and want more power....so what u guys think???
also i will be running alky with 91oct....

mods are
buddy club 272s
walbro
intake
TBE
1000cc injectors
aquamist hfs-1
clutch
cop ignition

coming soon are
buschur ported intake mani
65mm tb

if i go red i will be running the Full-Race mani
and if i go TS hta i will be running the ETS kit or Full-Race

haha yeah money is a prob but u gotta pay to play.


thats y i wanna take my time and make the right choice.
i want the best street turbo possible that makes the biggest power!

For the best combination of spool, top end, quality parts and your budget of those options I would wholeheartedly pick the ETS TS HTA35R kit. You won't be mad about spool time and you won't be wishing you'd gone bigger later because that setup is absolutely vicious on the top end.

i want fast spool of a stock housing turbos but the big pull and power of BIG turbos...
ive decided just to run E85, no meth.

ive heard between 4300-4500 on the stock 2 liter
and red like 3800-4000

what are you going to be doing with the car exactly?

road course? autocross? drag racing? just driving to work? I asked because you mentioned lag.

You really have to examine what do you want out of your setup. Myself personally, I don't mind lag of a big turbo but in my younger days I had a few hondas so I had to wait for vtec to kick in, so its no different then having a big turbo on my evo other than I actually have some torque now, lol.

Just think about what you what out of the car and how you would like it to perform and decide what you want.

Just be patient and I'm sure you will find what you are looking for.

I would say double pumper and atleast 1450cc -1600cc (with E85 on high boost)
