this is not a budget build by any means 3k plus turbo kit and 3k-5k clutch damn lol then as stated above have to have all supporting mods to make this work hmmmm makes you think. better start finding some private sales in the sales forum a lovely place with LOTS of great prices and parts for sale

With that power level i would not run the car over 550whp(dynojet) on the stock block and even then it would not last very long, depending on other factors too. Also, a twin disk clutch is recommended for this kind of power, sometimes you can get away with running a good 6-puck, depending on the torque it puts out.

since your here ill ask you. One i was told by one of the greatest stock ecu tuners on this forum that anything over 510 on stock block your on borrow time basically. its just a matter of time before the shortblock is out of there. two I heard and read alot of threads for 1 year about ACT clutches in general and lots of high profile shops state act clutches are pure garbage most have lockout issues etc. There are some decent ones from what i have read and seen but should he not just go with a exedy twin HD or carbon edition and call it a night.

its really not the labor that kills you its the price for the parts really 300 for ported intake 2k for clutch 4k for turbo kit 1695 for built head and the list goes on and on you can spend 2k and get a everything pulling and installed all at once but the prices of parts and buying things that cost 500+shipping adds up hommie

Yea anything over that is borrowed time but that's the ULTIMATE I would go, maybe not even, I recommend that anything over 500whp be upgraded anyways just so you don't have to drop 5K on all new stuff. Twin Disk would be my recommendation but I have seen some people running 6-pucks on big turbos because they don't make crazy torque compared to the stock appearing turbos(they run pump gas, low boost).....but even then problems might rise up later, but since he's running E85 I would save up a bit more and get the Twin Disk....you can find them a bit cheaper here on the forums.

I'm just an Evo owner like yourself, I have had some time to see different set-ups and I am always straight up on anything I say, NO BS....I just share my experiences

Good luck on reaching your goals.
