Catch Can(Is this worth the money)
So im working on getting the rest of my parts for my 2.4 build. I am sure I need a catch can but there are so many to choose from. I found this one on ebay that looks decent.
And yes I did search http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MITSU...Q5fAccessories |
im interested as well.

Oil catch cans are very simple devices, I'm sure that one works just fine. It's hard to make one that won't work. Looks good, too.

That thing looks ballin for only $50!
But any catch can should work also, whether it is a $5 one or $500, they will all work equally. I never understood the guys that just had to have some fancy pants catch can, waste of money IMHO. |
Looks pretty decent for $50

Just make your own catch can. All the big company ones are big overpriced crome things when really you can make your own out of a few air tool fittings and a clear container so you can check the level. The catch can dosnt need to be much bigger than a pill bottle, becuase youll probible empty the can every time you change the oil so having a catch can the size of a forty of OE is just a waste.

ok, well i will give this one a try, seems like a decent price and looks pretty nice.

It's easy to make a can that does nothing. Here's a link to a proven catch can. He's a member on this forum. http://www.saikoumichi.com/

don't waste your money, just run a tube to the bottom and drain it on the ground, there won't be a lot of oil/moisture to be seen on the road, I've been running this setup forever. I used to have a catch can by the pvc valve and it fills so fast

Well I just bought it, even if I have to modify it to work I will. If not I will have a sweet looking coffee mug.
