Review of 2 mitsu lot experiences..

This last weekend I went to 2 different mitsu lots looking for an MR...

First I went to Town and Country Mitsubishi in gladstone...
Their staff was very polite
They knew very little about Evo's
they did what they could to find information and took the time to listen to me
they took down info and got back to me later once they researched my questions.

then I went to beaverton Mitsubishi
Their staff was pushy
they didn't knew a little bit about Evo's
they treated me very poorly accusing me of mistreating my car
they got me no information on the stuff I wanted
they only tried to get my friend to buy a car
they offered no help on the MR I want to eventually get
their service was very VERY slow
the guy who finally helped me in the service department was an *** hole
my friend who was actually thinking of buying an eclipse left so pissed off that he is now choosing not even to buy mitsu car because of the dealer

Yes, I've been to Beaverton Mitsubishi. They were very pushy and total dumba$$es. They didn't know anything about Evos, or the MR. They still had that '03 demo car on their lot with 1k miles listed at $10k over MSRP.

What a bunch of losers.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! 10k over sticker for a car nearly 3 models years old and 1k miles? Hearing that made my day. I wonder if anyone is actually dumb enough to buy it. Jebus F*$& by the time you get OTD you could have bought two used Evo's.

Exactly my point cannonballer, they actually tried to sell me that demo car too. (despite me telling them repeatedly that I had no interested in buying an '03, I just wanted to know what info they had on the MR, they clearly don't listen at all) It had a bunch of scratches on it, and looked like it had just generally been beat on. The interior was scuffed and scratched in a few places also.

Salesman: "oh, we'd be able to give you a good discount on this one..."

Me: "uhh, you couldn't pay me to take this car."

Dont deal with your locals if they are ****tards like that.
Be pre-approved for a loan, and start calling some dealerships.

My only experience with any mitsu dealer is when I went to look at a new Evo they had just received on the lot. Totally couldn't afford one and just wanted to look when a jack*** salesman decided to mosey on over my way and talk to me about the car. Told the guy I loved it and wanted one really bad, so he kept askin me a million times "what to I have to do to get you to leave in this car today?" even tho I also told him I couldn't afford ****.

Then he looks at my hooked up civic and starts tellin me how he has a hooked up WRX and blah blah blah and then almost blatently makes fun of my car because it has "EX-V sports sedan" on the back (canadian special edition) and he's like "never seen anyone add badges to their car like that" He was such a loser, didn't even know anything about the options on the Evo like the gauges.

Anyone know a good, knowledgeable Evo dealer in the DC metro area? I wanna deal with someone who knows what the hell they are talkin about.

I bought my car from the Beaverton Mitsu. They were a bunch off idiots. I spent about 8 hrs there fighting on price. I would never buy a car from them again.

Yep this works pretty well. I did it when I bought my Evo, ended up getting it at Appleway Mitsu in Spokane. I was treated very well by the staff there and had an overall good car buying experience.
