Tuner Transformation... should I do it?

Actually, I should rephrase. If they take me, I'll definitely do it. I submitted my car a couple months ago when they had an open call for evo owners, and I got an email from them yesterday (which I assume went to other owners as well) asking if I would be willing to drop off my car at the end of this month to their garage/studio in Toronto for 2 weeks. I answered with my info and said it would be fine, and am waiting to hear back.

Of course I don't want my car turned into a spider web car (like the cooper s), but I was impressed with what they did with the 240SX, the 323GTX, and the STi.

Anyone else get the email?

-n.

yeah... I was going to say you can always remove what you don't like, and keep what you do!

You'd better tell them to save your stock parts!

Just tell them before hand that you don't anything super ricey. I'm sure they'd be willing to tone it down for you, keep the decals to a minimum and such.

From what I've seen, they do a good job of outsourcing things they don't know about. Give it a shot and SAVE YOUR STOCK PARTS!!!
Edit: Tell them their gauge clusters are gay & if they must replace it, put in a real Ralliart unit.
And tell them not to pain the interior or put damned stickers all over everything...although I'm sure they'll insist on the Tuner Transformation sticker...

They did a good job with an STi, put in a FMIC, a stock hood without a scoop, and removed the rear wing. I think they really do try to take the owner's likes into account.

Yeah, but you don't buy an evo to upgrade the sound... my car is loud enough as it is.. a sweet system would be a waste of money without lots and lots of expensive (and heavy) dynamat.

when they interview you, just tell them that you want a race car... they'll give you more power and handling rather than bling and stickers.

DO IT! just request that they not change the color of the car, no BOV (unless circulating), and no decals (unless the TME6.5 heritage hockey stick thingy lol), and and make sure when they drive it in the beginning that the go easy on the clutch, no launching, etc.

Oh and let us know when its airing.

I wouldn't do it :x

I also kind of doubt they would let you pick and choose what you want.. they are promoting products aren't they?

I say do it. I haven't seen the one they did on the Sti but the one they did on the SRT4 was nice, they did a turbo upgrade and also the 240sx with the SR20DET swap. Just tell them you want simple and clean, mayb JDM style but for sure NO RICE! They do try to keep things the way the owner wants it, somethings.
