A Message to All EI Customers
Wow, if they actually release the Evo7s to the streets without the federalization, that's illegal and RedEvo6 will be in for a field day!
RedEvo6 says he is an insurance fraud investigator. So, RedEvo6, here you go, have fun!

Excuse me. I'm not a moderator (and don't want to be a moderator), but let's break this most recent post down.
OK. I'm scanning back for recent posts and I find posts from myself, who could be expected to concur with your evaluation of the first post in this thread, and I see posts from folks who have recently spoken to EI. And, now I see a threat to those who have "no intent to buy an EVO from EI."
What does "Most of this business is propriatary and very few people know what is actually going on. Even motorex, with their skylines are doing illegal stuff in the sea of rules and regulations." mean?
Take a deap breath. Feel better? Everyone here is "hoping for" a response from IE. But some are more pessimistic than others. I count myself among the latter.

If this thread does not contain enough Evo VII content to merit its place in this part of the forum, then move it to off topic. Or break the last part of the thread and put it in off topic. The purpose of a forum is to discuss viewpoints from all members in an open, positive, and constructive manner. I do not possess all the facts, but I have my own consumer smarts and wisdom gained through my own mistakes and pitfalls. If my attempt at a thoughtful post can assist or illustrate a different take on things which is beneficial to them, then I'm happy.
The actions (legal or not) which Motorex did or did not take to get their customers Skylines (legalized or not) is not relevant to the topic of a street legalized Evo VII. That goose was already cooked as a hunter might say. What this thread is discussing is what happens now and going forward for the Evo VII customers who purchased with the intent of obtaining a street legal vehicle that they can drive everyday without having to be in fear of breaking any laws. I think one may want to reconsider that just because a car makes a public appearance at a drag race that it will become legalized. That's a lot of stretch, especially when there's no record of the RI filing the initial petition request with NHTSA.
As for my post, I don't think I cut down EI if anyone thinks that's the case. Additionally, I for one am not trying to step on anyone's attempt at owning their dream car. I sincerely hope that their dream of owning a street legal Evo VII is achieved.

Seems to me that there a number of people on LF claiming to be someone that they are not, claiming to own something that they do not, and claiming to know about things, when all they really know is j@ck ****. EI rox. Got a problem with that statement? Go post on Honda Forum instead.
Why is it every time we have a thread that starts interesting and has a discussion/argument it ends up like this?
Can we please get it back on topic and keep it somewhat informative/on topic?
EDIT: And read the forum rules. Number 10.

If I had one I'd name it "Sonic". Looks like a hedgehog and quick as anything.
Well...pretty quick at least.
