Dummies book update.

For those of you who have received your Car Hacks and Mods for Dummies books, please post your impressions so that others know what to expect. It would be especially helpful to have some reviews posted on Amazon.com since many people start their when looking for info on new titles.

For those of you who have not yet ordered, as of this morning (10/17/04), Amazon is down to the last 5 copies of their initial shipment, so if you don't want to wait for them to re-order, grab them while they are in stock.

One final note: For those of you not seeing it on store shelves locally, please let the store managers know that there is a demand for books like this. If they don't hear from customers, they won't order and will continue to stock Oprah books and similar exciting titles. On the other hand, if they think people will buy these if they have them on the shelf, they will order -- but they need to hear from us that we want them to stock titles like this.

Awesome book David! It definitly acheives what you designed it to do; provide a quick glance at almost every aspect of the aftermarket car parts availible out there.

I'll attempt to put up a review on Amazon sometime soon.

...slashdot review forthcoming...

EDIT: problem in slashcode. the review has been approved, but they can't post it until the bug is fixed.

Thank you! That was an excellent review. Looks like the book just hit the big time... and EvoM along with it!

Damn... I had to go out and buy GTA before even finishing reading the thread... I didn't know it was out

What's up with getting scooped by /.? I saw this over there before here. You'd figure we'd at least get a heads up post by David
