Are my brakes pads bad?

I am going to have my rotors turned...under warranty. Judging by the pic, are my brake pads bad? Should they be that angled at the top? Would warped rotors cause this?

That looks fine. They are supposed to be angled at the top, on every car I have seen at least.

They look brand new. Stop worrying.

Just do not wash your car when the brakes are hot.

Sorry..I guess I never really noticed that angle on the pads before.

The dealer siad they would turn the rotors under warranty because of the severe vibration of my steering wheel when I brake at high speeds.

Any chance in getting new rotors under warranty instead of having them turned?

If they warp again , they will have to cut it once more.
There is a minimum thickness allowed for the rotors and if your under specs...they have no choice but to replace them.
