wooah , let me say sorry to people i offended. im not a fan of automatic cars, in fact, i hate auto cars. i dont care if someone has one for whatever reason. i personally know 2 realy cool guys who prefer auto, but their reasons are bevcause they have some sort of disability that make it hard to use the clutch or stick. but i dont see the point in the auto evo. its ganna be alot slower, and i think would bog down way too much off the line.

actually, i raced a 911 twin turbo in my stealth on race gas on the streets of louisville ky. i won pretty good. i took his *** hard off the line but he caught me in 2nd, then every time i or he shifted i pulled ahead, hu, hu, hu, its funny, when he shifted he lost ground, hu, hu, tripronic good? my ***.

On the whole subject, I think driving a manual has made me a much better driver overall. Forces you to concentrate rather than simply pointing the car and mashing the gas.

I agree with alot of the points presented. Daily drivers are best left in automatic form, M3s, EVOs, and the like are not. Although it does very from car to car which is better for example, I know alot of Supra guys drive Auto because its easier to launch for the 1320, but I almost cry when I see them.

It's just not fun. In fact, it makes "driving" a big pain. Driving should be fun, I don't think it should be about shifting
Ok, I see where it would be nice to have that, but still.... performance car=get a manual. if you're in that kind of traffic constantly, why have an evo? it's not like you'll really be using ANY of it's potential.

Also, shifting without a clutch is NOT a rumor. I've had to do it before. My clutch cable broke while I was driving, but luckily my dad was in the car with me, to tell me what to do. Pretty much you just have to rev the engine to the RPM it would be at if it was in gear and slide it in, the synchronizers do the rest.
