Have anybody here got a recall for the fan controller for the '03 Evos yet? A friend of mine did.

Yes

Yep, I got this recall done. Right now they're in the process of ordering a new fan controller for me.

just give a call and say you heard about the recall and schedule an appointment. You dont have to get it done, but if its on the dealership...why not

The recall notice says the affected models are:

I just got the letter today. Has anyone noticed if this is a problem at all? I hear my fans turn off, so I think its functional. I just don't wanna go in and get blacklisted for my one mod.

Everything from Mitsu seems kind of shady to me. Recall for sticker and recall for fan switch but no recall for transfer case, tranny or clutch. I think it's just the MAN out there trying to void more warranties.
