Damn....we're all testing positive for the Evo-la virus.

 

Heh...I can't even imagine what I will be like when I actually have my hands on the evo.. I currently own a RSX-S and I feel bad for the car cause only thing in my mind lately is the EVO. I quit going to clubrsx and became official EVOM thread reader. 3 more months and currently modding away in my head.=)

 

I was the same at first, but then it got better. Then I spent $$$ and now it's back again.

 

I know your pain all too well. From the time i get into the car, to the time i get to work. All i can think for lunch is, "why dont you take her for a drive." Then i think, an hour is not enough time and ill only want more. When i dont take the car for a couple days, once i get it im nervous just thinking getting in. I get in and i dont want to get out once i put her into first. Great feeling.

 

i would rather keep my evo than my girl friend. my girl friend can be a real psycho sometimes...

 

LOL I felt like I was 16 years old again the first time I drove my EVO. I had that feeling that I had stole the car and it was too good to be true. 1 year later and the feeling is almost still the same.

 

I feel you man, actually I feel everybody's post in this thread so far! It's so much fun having this car. I never want anything but an Evo to drive

one more thing..

RWD cars get me into trouble... FWD cars aren't any fun... another reason why AWD rules.

 

Same feeling here. The car is so good for me with few mods that I`m moding my car step by step with a lot of patience. For me is a pleasure to mod my car.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same way as Derek888. I have wife, kids, house, boat and many many expensive toys to pay for but I scrunch up all my money for modifications to my EVO. I eat, drink and think of EVO all day. I just can't seem to get off this internet site. I'm going crazy. Pretty soon I'm going to need counseling.

 

Ha, ha. I think we all have the same problem. With this forum, we feel better about our problems since we are not alone .

I've had other cars before. Modding ideas came from magazines or some rare footage of car shows on tv. With so much information, products, vendors, and free "How to" stuff on this forum, my head goes spinning from all the things I can buy.

Now, if we could only create a support group for our wives and girlfriends to understand our problem .

 

Every time I go out to eat with my girlfriend i'm always trying to get a seat in the restaurant by the window so I can look at my EVO. I'm not afraid anyone is going to steal it... I just like to look at it!

I bought to EVO to get out of drag racing my 10sec trailered non turbo civic I got tired of having to load the car on and off the trailer,changing trannies and pistons over night to make races. But this car is like no other and I have the bug big time and the EVO just is the perfect street car for me. I find my self spending more time on the EVO than I did with my race car. Good luck with your EVO and enjoy every second of it.

 

Evo is a disease, driving it everyday is the cure.
