In the back of my mind...

Now I coinsider myself to be a very good driver, I drive fast but I never ever drive stupid. I have driven many a nice car but I never owned one for myself, which canged this last week when I purchased an 05 evo. I could not be any happier with the car, it drives like a dream...the only thing that is getting to me is all of those little voices in the back of my head telling me things like...

. if you hurt this car in any way you cant afford to fix it, and we all know Mitsus reputation with the warenty

. cops love to pull over this car

. did the dealer put 20 of the hardest miles it could on it before it was bought and broken in

. am I ever going to be able to run at a sanctioned race with out being spyed on

There are certin times that Im not to woryed but most of the time Im very hesitant to drive the car the way that it is capeable of being driven.

Well first of all, congratulations on your purchase. It only goes downhill from here. Soon you'll be homeless after taking out a second mortgage on your house to pay for mods... wife leaving you.. so on. As far as those little voices of yours. Don't mod it and you should be fine as far as warrenty. Don't drive stupid and the cops shouldn't bother you. The dealer just sat the rings for you, thats all Running a santioned event is grounds for warrenty being declined, they shouldn't be your sponsor, and you should loose the mentality that they should be.

man..i can understand ur worries...but not to be an ***....u shoulda figure the fixing part into the plan before you by the car...i had to do the same...nothing is wrong w. my evo so far...so i'm thankfull for that...

i say just injoy the car man...if u worry to much....it will stress you out and u might end up getting rid of it...like you said, ure not a stupid driving...u mean like doing clutch drops, AWD burnouts...? if u dont do any of that, the evo will be fine...i dont even worry about it anymore...i drive the car hard but never launch on the street or anything...just take car of her...gl man
