its not a evo 8, look at the rear wing, and u will notice it is from a evo 7, the "expected" evo 8 rear wing is more straighter on the sides

Gawd! All I see is UGLINESS because of that grill. I would be HORRIFIED if that was the 8's grill!!!! ...But yes, did see that picture quite a while ago.

 

Looks like a Cadillac grill to me.

Oh, not actually *****ing about center-piece on the "real" evo 8, just that horrible one above on the yellow evo. I do agree that what we really are getting does look a little more pontiac-ish than I would like, but overall I do actually like the look of the new front...ya know, for the most part...

Really? Not even the triangular center-piece? That's a very similar feature in many of pontiac's models, most noteably the grandam. Only in passing, however, and though it may be only 1% of the car, being the front end, it's generally what gives someone their most immediate first impression. In the end, though, I would say I'm altogether happy with the new design, realizing it's designed for our 5mph impact laws, so it's all a mute point.
