I heard you can just tell a tuner what mods you have and then send your ECU to them to get it flashed or something like that?

Yes you can but I'll call the tuner first and make sure since you are in a different country.

In my case I would need to know the M number on the sticker that is on your ecu to see if we have good base maps for your ecu version

This one other Evo in this country sent his ECU to Japan to have it tuned. He had some mods in his car so it made me kind of worried that in Taiwan people are lost with this kind of car. BTW there are only about fifty Evo 8's in this county so not alot know about this car. Wouldnt you need a dyno to tune it to make sure your getting the most out of the tune? Im new to this ECU tuning thing and not sure how it really works. Thanks

Works will re-flash you by mail, but I dont know how they handle out of country requests. Are there differences between the Evo in Taiwan and the USA?

Yeap a big difference as far as I know!

Al tuned my friend's ecu from Turkey but of course it took him a while to do that unlike the USDM Evos because of the differences...

I am sure if you give him some time, he should be able to tune any ecus for evo8.. it just takes time to send it to japan and get it back..

Again get me the M number off the ecu and we can see what you have - its on a sticker on the ecu

IF you have the right ecu we can match the tune to your specific mods and fuel used and get you a reasonably good through the mail tune which is safe and will have your car running properly and making at least 20 more whp

Of course a full custom tune is the best solution - however the mail in flash has a lot of reasearch behind it and we have over 875 customers running our flash out there with a very good reliability record

BTW - our through the mail tune is $199.99

if you can handle the down time while AL has your ECU, and he can flash your model, the dynoflash will be the best $200 you have ever spent!!!
