Another advantage that I like over my 03 is the ACD and FLSD and the Bilstiens would be nice to have. I agree I am not ready to give up my 03 just yet. But to judge without driving is a little harsh.

EvoTexas the 6 spd is smoother due to the teflon shifter cables I believe.

Hey now, he gave his opinion not his driving impression. As for me, i like the MR and its cool little extras but is not really needed (for me)!

it would be nice if they added more hp to the MR to go with the nice suspension and 6 speed tranny

sorry i gotta agree that mr is not worth the extra 500 over fully loaded gsr. If they would've added AYC, and made it w/ the japan parts i.e.:headlights, tails, etc. then it would've been something special. The one thing that the mr has that i really want is the graphite grey paint.

What if the 6 speed is very notchy and they had to try to compensate with teflon coated cables?

You really think you'll notice teflon coating on shifter cables? Can you say "marketing?"

How rude are you? We are getting very tired of these types of responses. If you don't like what someone has to say then respond without personal insults. Thanks.

I say keep the evo you have, cause it's not like your stepping up a lot. The way the evo "evolves", you could spend a fortune changing cars every other year, and its not a big diff. that is unless you have money to burn and in that case, maybe you could break me off a little!.

MR is worth it... I drove an 03 with 20K on the odometer before I drove the MR and grinded 5th every couple shifts. The 6sp is not notchy at all and have yet to grind once. It feels like a factory short shifter. I love the MR and I even think the $800 pedals, knob, shift lever and gauges are worth it. It is NICE, unique and speaks loudly for Japanese quality.
