Can any other 2005 MR owners chime in on this one? I looked at the manual that came with the car and it says 2005 Lancer on it. Nothing in the manual that I can see refers to the MR or Evolution and the pictures are generalized and don't represent pics of an Evolution. Can some MR owners take a look at their manual and see if theirs is specific to the MR or Evo at least.

yea, in the manual for the mr, it showed pictures of how to shift into reverse

also theres a chart that tells u which is the desired speed in each gear for a 6 speed, but its the same like 5 speed anyway

 

Now does yours say "2005 Lancer" on the front or does it say Evolution or MR?

 

i got an 03 evo and the book says 03 lancer evo on it.

 

It has Evolution on the cover and it does cover the 6sp but other than that it's the same manual that comes with the GSR and RS from what I can tell. It doesn't cover the extra gauges or anything like that though.

 

I think I may have gotten the wrong manual for the car... I'll have to look again...
