Yeh that whole engine oil thing bugs me, since noone knows. I get so worried about this car...

Seems like people on here knows more about it then the dealers or even most of the mechanics about evos.

The guys in the service dept. don't know as much as most people think they do. It's true. How do I know? Because my father has 19 dealerships and I work for Nissan North America and I can hang in tech talk with every tech I have met. And I am not a mechanical genius or anything. Just a car buff. Amazing.

We don't have a Mitsu dealership. However, there are some good places to get a clutch put in around here. Come on over!

I found that it really depends on the dealer cause one dealer I went too were complete *** holes then I tried another one and found that they actually treated me with respect

like others have said before... learn to do the stuff yourself... and keep the receipts for all the work you do... then you'll be in the clear with the "more" basic knowledge stuff...

as far as the tires, some of the ol' timers used to mount tires in the other direction to "feather" it... I don't really think it offers the "edging" they claim that it does, i believe it's an automotive urban legend... as far as directional tires go, it's very unstable in wet conditions as the tread is designed to syph the water away safely in the givien direction, foward...

it's digusting already with these "specially trained EVO techs"... i've never witness such a gross stupidity before... not even in the domestic automakers, hehe....

Tell them you'd like a free set of tires to keep you coming back. Afterall, the bad rotation might have worn yours down a bit.... you might get them.
