I Hate Mitsubishi

I left my car for the second maintence revision at Mitsubishi dealer. Today I notice that they put the rear tires on the wrong rotation!!!! I can't believe that a Mitsubishi employee didn't pay attention when puting the tires!
I'm sad and angry with Mitsubishi, it is not the first time I have problems with idiots mechanics if I can call that guy of mechanic.
I drove my car more or less 3000 miles with the rear tires on the wrong rotation...

What this situation can cause?

What should I Do with Mitsubishi?

less traction... more wear... serverly limited high speed capability.

I am no tire genius, but I would say this hasn't hurt your Evo at all...

As far as what you should do with Mitsu... At this point 3k miles later there is no way to prove they did it. But I would at least bring it up to the service manager and tell him to document your complaint.

Oh yeah then go somewhere else!

go to another mitsu dealership for service.

It's like giving a bad or no tip to a restuarant; then, you come back to the same place again. Why put yourself in similar situation?

Much more noise and they wear out much faster. it will hurt your braking performance and maybe your rotors on the long run from uneven vibration

It's not hard to correct the mistake yourself.

I think the point is that the dealer should of gotten it right the first time. They forgot to bleed my brakes and didn't know how to bleed the 4 piston caliper.

I almost got in an accident because of that.

Sounds like the tech was thinking about his girl friend instead of what he was doing to your car. Be thankful you found out about the lousy work so easily. You can choose another dealer to do your warranty work and send in a complaint to Mitsu about the goof. I have had some good and some not so good expereinces but over all I have gotten my service and warranty problems resolved.

you guys should know that most techs even at decently small dealerships have barely any experience with mechanical work....trust me i have known some of them and before they started they had barely bolted on a exhaust ...its no good. In terms of them not bleeding brakes that is horrible....totally different from tires. Now granted he coulda lost control in rain cause of it but luckly he didn't i am sure if he went back with them still backwards and had a cow he could get a few oil changes/rotations outta it...

It was pouring and I did go back. They forgot to bleed the brakes first time. They tried to bleed it but they failed the second time, because they were only bleeding the outside bleeder and not the inside on the front 4 piston caliper.

I didn't get shlt for my troubles. The worst part is they weren't apologetic at all.

This is Rick Case Roswell GA, and don't go there.

AHHHHHHH!!! You will not believe.... I remember another problem with these idiots... When I left my car to change the engine oil (first time) the mechanic told me that would be necessary 6 liters of engine oil!!!! ahahahaha this guy should have a kick on his ***...
As I knew that my car should be from 4-5 liters I just bought 5 liters hoping to get to my home 500ml... The mechanic complained about me because I just bought 5 liters. After some minutes I said thank you GOD because in this time another mechanic arrived and said to him DON'T put more than 4,5 liters before check the engine stick.
My car is 4,5 of engine oil!!!
Since I had this problem I didn't come back to this dealer... but as you know I had another problem with another dealer. Next engine oil change will be done by myself and all performance parts will be installed by myself. Mitsubishi dealer NEVER MORE!!!

Thank you for all EVO owners of this site because I'm learning many things about EVOS and becoming far away from the Mitsubishi Mechanics...
