how much for a stock spoiler?

Hey guys, i have a question. I found a Blue 03 Evo here for a good price and low miles. The only problem with it is that it has the low spoiler. My question is this, if i took that spoiler off and had the stock evo spoiler put on would there be different holes? And how much would it run to get that spoiler from a dealer and painted roughly. Im asking because if its going to cost to much than ill keep looking for a diff car. Thanks alot guys

The holes for the stock spoiler are the same as the carbon fiber wing. You will need some new double-sided tape to augment to the four bolts used to tighten down the wing to the trunklid. As far as getting one from a dealer, that is quite expensive. Last I saw it was nearly $1500. You can find used wings on the market and get them repainted if not in BBY for a bit less, but there are no real bargains out there.

your best bet is to wait until someone pute theirs up for sale, on this site. you can ship, paint, and mount for wayyyyyyyyy less then the dealer will charge you.

Hey Streak,

How much are they asking you for the blue low-spoiler '03 EVO...?
I wonder because a dealer near home is in the same situation with a red one, and I was wondering about $$$.

Thanks and later,
Andrés.

No prob on the paint as all three pieces are carbon fiber and look fine unpainted, several owners have striped thiers. FWIW The spoiler is a $480 option.

Funny thing, they were asking 25k for the car but i think it just failed the vin check at mitsu. But i just also found a red with one low miles for the same price so i may be a red evo owner lol.

If you get the low profile evo and switch to a cf wing you'll have an extra hole in middle of the trunk lid for the wicker mount.
