Hi all,

Im looking for a good Mitsu dealer in the Central Florida area. My 04 Evo has been making these weird creaking/shuddering noises when im turning into a parking spot or backing out of my driveway while turning. It sounds horrible. I have an intake and a turbo timer and im looking for a dealer that not gonna give me a hard time or try and decline warranty service. Anyone know of any? Thanks in advance.

KRAFTY, what part of central florida are you in? I work in sales at sport Mitsubishi, we have an awesome service dept! I own an evo and so does another salesmen here. My gm has an MR.

I live in Deltona to be exact, I know of Sports Mitsu in Orlando. So I can expect to take in my car there and not be hassled?? I have read all these horror stories and become almost afraid to bring my car in to any dealer. I bought it with 9K miles and balance of the warranty from a dealer up north and it came with a K&N Typhoon intake and Blitz DTT, I have been trying to locate a stock air box, intake tube and hardward to have it converted back to stock.. but no luck so far and this horrible noise seems to be getting worse, so I need to have it looked at ASAP.

I bought my evo from Holler in Orlando. Don't know much about their service department, but they seemed cool enough.
They wouldn't give you any problems with the turbo timer, but the intake they might. They would have to prove that the intake did indeed cause the problem.

Intakes and exhaust usually don't have much said about them, but you never know.

 

Take it back to stock. In the time you've taken to post, you would have already been there....

 

I bought the car with the K&N already installed, so I don't have the stock parts. I have been looking for them, as I said in my last post.

Our service dept is really cool. Just take it down there and let them look at it. As long as whatever the problem is isnt related to your mods youll be fine.

 

I bought my evo at daytona mitsubishi...i bought my 99 eclipse from them too. Their service department is decent. Never really had any problems with them. Dunno how they will act towards your mods, but they have 1 mechanic there that does all the work on any evo so I don't know if that means he knows everything, or knows just enough more than the rest of the mechanics there

Is sport mitsu cool? I need my wing and a caliper replaced. I have quite a bit done to my car and for something stupid like that i dont want them flagging the rest of my warranty for taking my car to get some cosmetic stuff replaced

 

Sounds like your transfer case. Hollar suck's go to the one in daytona beach they do a real good job.
