I am 95% sure that the dealer gave me the wrong manual when I bought the MR. I swear it is for a regular Lancer 2005. Someone with an '05 or MR for that matter please take a look at your manual and see if it corresponds to these pics. The dealer is trying to tell me that the manuals are the same for Evo and Lancer reg.

I don't think that's even an Evo manual! It has a page about cruise control.

Technically they should be the same car, but maybe if u can find something about the 6th gear operation or Bilstein shocks then it would be the right one.

I hear you guys.. I see some of you are driving 2003's though. Any 2005 drivers out there that can confirm this from looking at their 2005 manual?

 

Got the same Owners manual.

 

Mine is different. 3-47 explains the ACD in my manual.

 

There is nothing about cruise control in the idex either. The front of mine says " Lancer Evolution VIII Owner's Manual 2005".

 

i got an MR and it came with an EVO manual. don't worry if it doesn't say MR on it. it's for both the GSR and MR.

 

When I bought my Evo I got home and took out the manual and found it odd that there was no explanation of the Evo features, the one I got looked just like that besides said 2003. I called my dealer and they sent me the correct one.

 

That's not the issue, it's either the correct one for turbo Evo or for a regular lancer non-turbo...

 

yes, they are both the same. i have a 05 gsr and the manual covers both MR and regular GSR features.

 

That's still not the question... Thanks to those that understand what the question was.

For those that don't:

1. Manual shown= 2005 Lancer (OZ type, ralliart type non turbo)
(not the correct manual for (GSR, MR, RS, EvoVIII)

or

2. Manual shown= correct one for 2005 (GSR, MR, RS, EvoVIII)
