I didn't mean heavy mods, I meant about 2k in mods. Stage 2, exaust and a good dyno tune is all it takes to get big power in the SRT-4.

About a month ago, I traded an 04 SRT-4 for my current 04 Evo 8. The SRT-4 is damn fast car for the money, probably the fastest you can buy for the $22k. I had the Mopar Stage 1, short throw shifter and K&N filter putting it slightly over 240 HP. But the gearing and insane boost levels of the Evo, plus the AWD give it a big edge in my opinion. Because of all the power to front wheels, it was not easy to get great launches consistently from the SRT-4, at least for me. Now, from a roll or starting at 30-50 mph, it would be closer. Also, the Mopar Stage 3 just came out, pumping the SRT-4 up to 300 HP if you want to drop $3-4K.

 

Civic with the swap is fast but the video is all from a roll where the evo is not in its element..

Light to light race pretty sure that civic will just spin the tires but who knows...
