no launch rev limiter on 05 RS

Mine goes right to 7000 at a dead stop with clutch depressed, and the car in first gear. And before anyone says that it is an 04, it's not. It has the acd switch, and the aluminum roof. Any one else out there know about this.

I personally launch at 5000-6000 depending on conditions. But that 5K limit is prolly there for a reason. Mitsu motors are fairly bullet proof, but their trannys and drivetrains have been kinda sketchy in the past. This is my fourth Mitsu and I've heard about trans problems for years. Just look at Sean Glazer. He goes through like a transfer case a race, and a tranny a month.
