Nice point! I usually interpret "baseline" as "stock" with no mods. I guess different people interpret baseline differently ....

Thanks for pointing that out (that explains why his baseline is so high).

I'm sorry that I confused everyone with my baseline reading. I usually interperet baseline as the car's 'before' dyno run. As for modifications that I have done to the vehicle already, they include an airbox and front mount intercooler by ARC. The exit end of the turbo is mated to an 80mm RS*R downpipe and a Tanabe Ultra Medallion 80mm exhaust. After my 'before' dyno, Sean (does anyone else think he looks a little like Paul Walker?) put on the Hallman MBC and we dynoed it again to get the second curve.

Al - That was my MR at the shop the other day that Dan was talking to you on the phone about. Really looking forward to adding your tuning experitse on my vehicle. I left a message for you on your voice mail.

Flip - I had the sniffer on there for a/f readings, but it blew out the exhaust on the dyno run, so it looks like it just spiked right up.

Why is there a loss of torque in the power band?

I would think that the dyno sheet would be higher in all areas.

Derek - The first run, the torque spiked early in the powerband but immediately came crashing down. The second run the torque did not spike up as high, but came down more gradually, which felt better as it was a smoother transition and didn't slop down as much. If you see the baseline torque curve you can see exactly where it spiked at a little before 4000 rpms. If you look at dynorun2 the spike is eliminated for a more flat torque curve from the 3500 - 4300 rpm band.

Flip - I'll have another dyno run once I get my flash done.
