Will you buy another Evo?
I was planning to drive it 'til the wheels fell off. Instead some A$$ in a van knocked the wheels off it for me. I didn't get another EVO, I got a Subaru Baja. I miss the EVO ride every day. The Subaru has a softer slower ride
it just doesn't feel right after the EVO.
I needed something with a little more utility, camping etc... Overall I am happy with the Baja though. Funny, the Baja is more of a chick magnet than the EVO, go figure...

Most probably not. I love my EVO, but must be getting old because this crap is beginning to seem a bit ricey to me. I know, the EVO is no rice mobile because it's just not all show but it actually goes. But with crappy Mitsu service and crappy Mitsu company, I would definitely not buy another Mitsu. I'll try for a M3/M5 next time. Anyhow, that is just my opinion and no one elses.
In a second. I have to sell the one I have though. I've had no major mechanical issues all, and once I found a good dealership, everything has been cool. (Thanks HB Mitsu)
The next one would be an RS with ACD and front LSD. No wing, thank you.

With all the high per performance cars out there:
Subaru WRX
Subaru WRX STi
Subaru Legacy GT
Mazdaspeed 6
Volvo Something
Acura TL A-spec
Acura TSX A-spec
Other cars coming - (GT-R)
Will people replace their Evo with another Evo. The Evo is a great car. I have owned my car for nearly 2 years and it continues to impress me. I have almost sold it more time than I can count, but I still hang on to it.
But,
does suck.
I used to own an Acura (user ID), and tansition from Acura service to
was a little hard to deal with. Actually, hard enough that
does not service my car. All oil changes and service on my car has been done by me and other Evo drivers.
The Evo is not a cheap car, and the MR is coming up on 40K. That is a lot of money to pay for crappy service, and crappy fit and finish. I know a lot will say, that the focus is the performance and the greatness of the Evo. But that will not do me any good if the car falls apart, or I can not maintain it.
So the point, how many people will stay with
when the time comes to replace there cars, and how many are going to move on to another car because of terrible
service, support, quality, and knowledge of the Evo.
Not trying to create flame fest, just get peoples thoughts.

To answer your ? (this is EVO number two for me)
It is interesting to read the responses. It seems that a lot of people are doing what I did. Buy a second car and keep the Evo on low use.
But, I am not sure if I would buy another one. Definately would not not buy a new one. Would debate buying a used one, like an MR in the future.

why the hell would i need to get another sports car when i already got one? i see absolutely NO point in owning 2 sports cars...i'm planning to keep my 03 till it dies on me...sides, if i were to get another car (due to family or w/e), then it'd be something more comfortable and less gas-consuming like camry or corolla or something...
Definitely would buy another all over again. Have not had a single problem, 35k miles so far. Enjoy every minute in it. I also would like the C4S with the "my other car is an Evo". My next car in a few years will be something a little "softer" but will keep the evo to drive the hell out of it and get my kicks.
