When looking into a new car people tend to focus on the good things. I'm no exception. So I figured I'd ask you guys to name 5 things you don't like about your Evo.

 

No cruise control. ****ty stock stereo. Spoiler. USDM market not getting same stuff as everybody else ( I understand emissions stuff, but why the pep boys tails?). No cruise control ( I put this twice, because it is what is going to get me in trouble very soon)

 

Here's my five gripes in order of annoyance....

1. Steering wheel should be length adjustable (telescopic)
2. Gas Tank is too small
3. Shifter bushings / engine mounts are too soft
4. Front bumper looks kinda cheesy (mitsu emblem too big)
5. keyless entry system isn't very smart compared to Toyota

 

To much power, To loud , Mods keep finding a way on my car, Its an EVO , and ohya the car handles to well

my only gripe is the damn cruise control...i miss it

oh yea and the stock tails

 

Too much fun then? LOL.

 

Being d*i*c*k*e*d by the dealer on price, no auto-up driver's window, pedals slippery when wet, no factory installed performance parts (i.e. muffler, intake, etc. like WRX has), fear of having warranty voided for simple bolt on stuff (although I don't have any mods yet, I am still weary of this happening).

Other than that, the most fun to drive car I have ever had or driven. Of course it can always use more power.

 

Ya , dam car .... will be the death of me....

 

cruise, not fast enough, better paint, cruise, cruise.

 

Crappy clutch that chatters when cold
Bad heater controls
No cruise control
The side profile of the car is too plain (front and back are awesome)
Bad gas mileage in city

But overall I love my Evo

 

The interior rattles (may be b/c I have an RS), the turbo lag (somewhat curable), the shifting (easily fixed), the maintenance costs (gas, oil, tires- not too big of a deal), and......... the uncontrollable temptations to mod. Luckily the pro's outweigh the con's tenfold.

1. A/C is standard, not an option.
2. Carpeted interior is standard, not an option.
3. 17 inch steel wheels would have been sufficient, no need for Enkeis from the factory.
4. Car crabwalks when hard braking from 130mph to zero without the carbon rear spoiler.
5. Clear tail lights.

 

I have a cruise control and I don't ever use it.

 

1. Back seats don't go down
2. Stock head unit blows
3. Stock diverter valve is plastic
4. No alarm (wtf)
5. People don't want to race me anymore lol

 

I would say the car is fine, the dealerships blow.
