This is more than 5 reason but here goes:

1. Not the same MR as the JDM version.

Where is my auto climate control on my 36K car. The 32K STi has them is cruise conrol

I guess this as close as it gets so i'm almost completely satisfied except for the HVAC controls

 

Five little things I didn't like my MR:

1. outside mirrors has no defrosting function
2. No auto climate control
3. ugly interior color coordination: blue seats, grey steering wheel spoke, silver dash, non matching illumination lights, etc....
4. Windshield rattling noise
5. No SAYC

I just want the JDM MR or UK FQ340. =)

2.center arm rest too pushed back
3.it didnt come with a front lip
4.it didnt come with a bigger FMIC
5.Its not 550hp stock!

The urine based paint is one aspect of the evo I dont care about

 

1. Lame tail lights
2. Lame tail lights again
3. dull dash lights around radio and climate controls
4. Some crummy dealerships out there
5. No standered turbo timer

 

1) couldnt get the color i want cause they were all gone
2) no one has a pick of the electric blue so i didnt get it
3) finally found the color i wanted and it came with a sunroof
4) dont really like the blue on the recaros would like a grey or brides
5) new car smell didnt last FOREVER!

haha but seriously coolest car ever no complaints dont know y u would buy something u didnt like u could always get a civic and make it what u want lol

2) Insurance
3) Mitsu dealers suck to work with
4) clutch isn't able to handle engine power
5) Warrentee's not being honored

as you can see most of my problems aren't with the car itself just the surrounding factors (cept the clutch) Evo is a great car I just wish Mitsu would step up and take a little more ownership/pride in their work to back it up and support the Evo like it deserves.

 

The sound system is bad and the ant. is really ugly.
No cruise control
The clutch is weak
The syncros are weak
The gauges are lousy and there are too few.
But I love her to bits anyway.

 

i dont own an evo, but here are something that should be changed:

No more clear tail lights
cruise control
HIDs on all models for 05 (except RS)
better looking dash and color matching
and backseats dont fold (but theres a crossbar there)

but keeping in mind that this car is made for rally and not constant street driving makes some of this stuff alright.

 

1) No cruise control2) The car is too tall
3) Lancer emblem on instrument panel instead of a freakin gauge. That is real cheap!!
4) Very solid dash board. Give it some time and it will crack, the material is too hard. Tap it with your knucles and you know what I am talking about.
5) Terrible place to locate the knob that moves the upper portion of the seat
6) Back seat don't fold back
7) Stock 05 cd Player has no output power what so ever

 

Jeez, i never used cruise control in my other cars that had it, don't miss it one bit in the Evo.

1) stock shifter bushings suck
2) gay clear tail lights
3) ****ty cheapass HVAC controlls
4) no front LSD (03)
5) no telescopic steering wheel (awwww)

Hmm... :P

6) seats don't have enough thigh support (wishing JDM)
7) too high up - 1-1.5" lowered would be better.

Otherwise I love it.

 

1. No cruise control.
2. No clear coat.
3. Blue fabric on seats.
4. Again, no cruise control.
5. Hard to get people to race.

Would be nice if the roof line was a little lower.

what do you evo guys replace for a new clutch, cause i know its not good, stage 2 clutches?

 

Here's mine:

1) Clutch
2) Gauges that are red?? and don't match interior lighting
3) Not being able to get all the JDM options.
4) Too many mods to decide on.
5) dealer markup and poor sales practices. Not supporting warranty issues and treating everyone like criminals who ask to get their cars worked on.
