Umm watered down, If thats what u think we love than why do u think Evo owners mod there cars. They want even more horsepower. Cruise control is good. The only reason the evo dont have cruise control is becasue of the MOMO Steering wheel. Also havin a game console would be pretty good. As for rims, gunmetal for me and no bigger than 18 if that. So what if we like bass??? is there a problem with that?? We also like sound quality.

its not the matter of wanting more.. but rather having less...

an evo is a proper race car... not a car meant to stick on a PS2... so how can you blame the japanese as they water down the evo for the US.. because we cant handle it... why did the RS come with AC when it shouldnt.. because Americans would ***** and cry.....

see you want sound quality? fine.. if u want bigger gas tank fine... its just the ideas of what an evo is basically flew right over your heads... its a proper race car and thats what the mitsu engineers thought as they designed it....

will mitsu truely care if americans whine about brake squeezing alil, no.. cuz evo can outbreak a ferrari modena from 60-0... do we really care about people *****ing about the hard ride? no cuz it will always outhandle an sti (and most other cars)... come on WAKE UP.. if u want a comfy sports car.. u shoulda got an m3

If i was seeriously all about dragging and racing than i would take out the AC as for everything else it is just for comfort becasue i wouldnt buy a evo just for racing. Prolly take out the back seats and shave everything as much as possible.

1- doesn't come with alarm
2- no cruise control
3- interior looks (especially the radio)
4- stock headlights/taillights
5- clutch catch point is too high

yes because this car is PERFECT. i'm sure you have absolutely no complaints with it.

and i would sell my evo and buy an e46 if i could. there's just that $20k difference..... good argument though... i hate people, such as yourself, that think this car is gods gift and that if you can't appreciate it in its entirety, then you dont deserve to own it. wtf is that? this isn't a trailer queen for me, it's a daily driver. so i dont have the luxury of looking at it as a pure track-car for the weekends, and for that reason, i would like to get a few more miles out of a tank of gas and i would like to have a little better sound quality than what the stock stereo provides. that's not to say that the evo isn't a great car. i look forward to driving it every single day. i absolutely love it.

Are you saying you're comuting more than 300 miles one way every day?
If you can't find a gas station within 300 miles I would seriously considering moving to another state. I was all over Arizona and Utah and there *IS* a gas station within 300 miles.
Not sure how traffic is down by you but I can guarantee you we spend more time just sitting in traffic and thus getting poorer mileage than you.
And Evo 8 has an upgraded gas tank compared to the older Evos, probably done because they were bringing it to

sometimes i like to visit family in Houston and Destin....
i don't have a problem with the gas stations because i'd be lucky to get 200 miles to a tank.. no, i don't drive hard everywhere..
the evo might have an upgraded gas tank from the older models, but how does that help me? i've always known the evo to have a 14 gallon tank..

the point is mitsu could have easily taken out that rear ash tray and rear cup holder and put in cruise control and a remote trunk pop(there's a new one)....

You do have a point here.
My wife loves that rear cup holder though, I'm even thinking about moding my Civic beater and putting one in since she misses it
