5 things you don't like about your Evo...
Well lets see...
1) Tranny Noise/ Clutch...Syncros
2) Sloppy Motor/Drivetrain Mounts
3) Rear Seats dont fold down
4) No usable power till 3500RPM
5) Paint
What the EVO should have been at least to me would be
1) Longer wheelbase + wider
2) The rear slope of the roof-rear window flows not steep as it is currently
3) 6.0Liter V10 Twin turbo 650HP- 750Torque
4) 6 Speed AWD w/ Diff Control like STI's, S-AYC,
5) 8 Piston Ceramic Brakes on all four corners
6) Rear Tires 305/40/18's, Front Tires 285/40/18's
7) Better turning radius than a Geo Metro
8) Unequal Length, Non- Parallel link double wishbone pushrod suspension
9) All the luxury ammenities to make a BMW seems like a corolla
10) A curb weight of no more than 3600lbs
11) More aggresive body work
12) Full Leather/Alcantara Dash surfaces, Headliner, Seats, etc
13) Navi System with 8 inch screen and 1500 Watt MB Quartz sound system with Eclipse Titanium Subwoofer
14) Fully Active Suspension- With help from Formula 1 Racing
15) Areodynamic Rear Carbon fiber spoiler such as the current evo the extends into 3 little sections to increase downforce, would look similar to a Boeing 747's wing on take-off, and when braking, all three sections pitch upwards to act as an air brake.. the same applies for the roof spoiler
16) Fully loaded as tested price of No more than $58,000....seems to be worth it lol
17) AND I think I have let my imagination run WAY too LONG...mwahaha...that would be the ultimate car..PERIOD!! FOREVER!!

Top 5:
1) O.E. clutch is rubbish.
2) Mitsubishi customer service is rubbish.
3) Brembo red/clear paint is rubbish.
4) Recaro seat covers are rubbish. (cloth, not leather)
5) Rally Red paint is....you guessed it...RUBBISH.
Rubbish is my new favorite word. I've been watching too much TopGear.

1. Insurance is expensive
2. Crappy in city gas mileage
3. Fear of other people touching my car so I park miles away from everyone else.
4. Everything else for this car is expensive (itself, gas, oil, insurance, mods)
5. The antenna, crappy signal. - never listen to the radio anymores anyways.

1. Chicks don't know what evo's are
2. Stiff ride, bad clutch
3. CHEAP interior (Oh how I hate when people get in the car and say, "you paid all that money for this?")
4. Tail lights
5. It's a ricer magnet

Things I wish my Evo had or could do.
(keep in mind my Evo is my only car and is my daily driver to work and everywhere I go)
Tighter turning radius. (not a big deal, I like the quick steering wheel more)
Ability to have only the Tach light up at night. (I hate lights on the interior at night)(3000rpm in 5th gear is 68mph in my car, I don't need a stinking Speedo)
6 Speed Tranny. (if I could get a quicker first few gears, and a taller final drive)
Wish I could shave 200lbs from the car.
Tighter seats.
I wish the turn signal/window wiper controls were both on the left side and rotated with the wheel so I don't have to let go to use them.
Wish I had a vertical WRC style e-brake.
The wheel bearings seem to be sluggish in the winter until they warm up a bit.
Auto passenger window would be nice, but not a big deal.
I'd get rid of the rear window brake light.
Things I like or don't care about.(that everyone else seems to NEED)
I don't need cruise. I drive 150miles one way on a regular basis, my leg doesn't get tired. I'm not sure what your problems are...?
I like the simple interior. If anything I'd take crap out. (I don't need center vents, hazard lights, or a cubby hole, etc)
Gas mileage doesn't bother me. Tank size doesn't bother me.
Don't care about the maintenance costs.
Don't care that the back seats don't fold down.
I like the spoiler.
I can't think of anything else, but there are probably more.
I spent just under 30k for my Evo, brand new. I am absolutely happy with what I got for the money, I'd likely even spend MORE for what I got. A 30k car that fights off 45k+ cars is damn good. Of course I'm getting some power upgrades, but mostly for fun, I think the car pulls VERY well stock.
There will always be the different crowds of people that like different things. (The people that cringe at the 400lbs stereo systems, the people that yell at a guy for ripping the seats/carpets out, the wing haters, the vinyl haters, the lowered vs wheel travel people, the loud vs quiet exhaust people, the VTA vs Recirc people, etc) The reason we all drive and buy our OWN cars, is because we all like different things, there's no need to rip on someone for having different opinions than you.
Time for me to go to bed. Another day of fun in the Evo tomorrow! I honestly feel like a rock star every time I turn that key. 8 months and counting, it never gets old.

1) Exterior styling (now looks a lot better with mods)
2) Interior styling and material feel
3) Dealer service
4) Rear seat not very supportive (when I take people on a spirited drive)
5) Attract cops.
Otherwise the car is very good.

5) Terrible place to locate the knob that moves the upper portion of the seat
6) Back seat don't fold back
7) Stock 05 cd Player has no output power what so ever
