Paint sucks ***, Warrenty=NOthing and mishi is stupid, Its high maitnence ,clutch,tires,ect. And the no alarm thing 2. Overall tho i LOVE it.

To much power, To loud , Mods keep finding a way on my car, Its an EVO , and ohya the car handles to well ....< AGREE

 

No cruise control
Radio shuld be optional (poor quality)
no climate control
Poor illumination on gauges
Interior looks like $16.000.00 car

 

1. Hot chicks keep on looking at me.
2. People keep moving over to let me pass.
3. Car handles like its on a rail.
4. Sound system with Sub sounds too good.
5. Damn leather Recaro seats are too comfortable.

don't own one but this is what i don't like

1. the factory paint job, we don't have to worry about rocks or anything else, if falls off by itself
2. gas tank should be 20-40% larger
3. if you buy a 30k car the interior should reflect it
4. warrenty? be great if we had one
5. bigger gas tank, the RS evo can't go more than 200 miles, i mean come on!


5 things i do like

1. the front end, it screams whos your daddy
2. insane performance
3. unlimited products for upgrading
4. having a box of kleenex handy for porche owners
5. electric blue

1. turning radius (went from best ever in my lancer, to worst ever in this)
2. paint
3. interior on lancer nearly identical with evo (but the evo costs twice as much)
4. chattery clutch (had the same issue with the lancer) even when never launched
5. very expensive to maintain

that's what i don't like (first five that came to mind). what i do like...

1. the "heart meet your spine" acceleration and "squirt sinus out your ear" cornering (so long as it isn't cold out)
2. recaro seats
3. the overall look of the car (in the rear view its just plain menacing)
4. hid's (first car i've had with them)
5. rarity

 

Why on earth Would you revive this thread?

 

1. Cellulose paint job
2. Not a fan of the dash layout, im not talking about the gauge cluster btw
3. The softy shifter bushings
4. Really bad turning radius! But i can live with that
5. Last but certainly not least the "Jeweled Tail Lights" FUGLY!

 

These kind of threads are great if you're considering the Evo. That's why I started it.

 

5. Stock radio location is bad (catches sun a lot, gauges are better there, requires a kit to move it)
4. No boost gauge standard on GSR (what's the point of the "Lancer" symbol in the gauge cluster). Fixing this one with a Defi BF gauge which is on its way.

Most of the things people complain about, well, are common things that people usually get on a car that costs 30K. Problem is, how many 30K cars can give a New Vette a run for its money? So you can see where Mitsubishi put the money. Not into things that you hear us complaining about. So you asked for Five things? Lets see..

1) Terribly expensive car insurance, at least in Califonria
2) Tuned for 93 Octane fuel for peak power, and California only gets 91 octane.
3) Instrament Cluster where the spedometer is should be easier to read, especially at night, the red is just well, hard to read.
4) Cruise Control would be nice....
5) No fog lights unless you get HID's.

I am being petty here, but the car serves one perpose, GO FAST...BRAKE FAST....and OUT CORNER anything else on 4 wheels. The Evo is a sum of its parts for sure. No one complains about a Porche not having Cruise now do they? haha.
