I just think that's funny with a twist of irony.

That's the Colt hatch body style I was keeping in mind when I made my decision. I'm also a huge fan of the WRC Corolla and 206 (Not so much the normal production ones). Like I said...I'm a sucker for a well built hatch. Same goes for wagons. If Mitsubishi were to put the Colt in their lineup as their next WRC car.
Imagine a 270+hp AWD colt hatch like that...
EDIT: Yes, it's LHD unless someone flipped the pic. We're not the only market with LHD cars though.
This will be the last Evo, the colt will be coming in 2004. Mitsu is quiting WRC for a year. The pugs and the other hatchbacks are really turning up the heat. The rate at which the evo is getting better can't keep up with the tiny light pugs with the same output. The Colt should dominate the league from what I see specs wise. I mean a lightweight hatch mated with an Evo drivetrain with a shorter drive shaft. That'd kick ***.
for a road car, I greatly prefer a sedan like the Evo7/8 vs a hatch like the colt. the colt may be a better rally car, but I don't plan on racing mine off road. I want a good road car, and I think the evo8 fits the bill better for me.

It sure would pass for one.

will give the upcoming 3-door version a wider track than the 4-door.
