Mr. AWD
I like the sound of those specs! It sounds like one tough SOB.
Someone over at Club3G also quoted that 271 hp figure and said it was at a lower RPM than normal, i.e. not the peak horsepower figure!
BTW, for comparison, what other cars require synthetic oil?

Oddly enough the GMC Typhoon..... must be a turbo thing.
Typhoons are pretty damned neat until you have to repair just about everything on them within 30k miles.

The viscous center and rear diffs are what the LHD Evo 4/5/6 have in those cars. Unless you think the handling on those previous Evos suck, then . . .
Actually, it's better to have the viscous diffs because they dont need maintenance unlike the AYC. The AYC requires the oil to be changed every once in a while. A lot of serious drivers replace the AYC anyway.

Damn 10,000 miles on a set of tires on normal driving
what do you only get 20,000 miles out of the clutch? I dont think theres going to be any warranty honoring because the dealer could easaly turn you down for warranty service and say you have been beating on the car...
If you want to play, you have to pay..... if you get rock hard tires that last 40k miles do you think they will be at all sticky? The wear rating on Bridgestone S0-2's is 140 which means you are lucky to get 10k miles on them (drive wheels).....they stick like glue though, which is more of a priority in my opinion.

10,000 mi for the treadlife is really isn't that bad. I when throu so2's and michilin MXX3's which were awesome tires. The trick is to buy cheaper winter tires since they have longer tread life and you'll find out that your changing tires every 2-2.5 years. I wounln't want a tire longer than that since they dry out and become useless.
I've seen the picture of the front which that DSS guy is talking about and yes, it looks like the Las Vegas picture, but FAR more aggressive and meaner looking. It looks really sharp, trust me.
And yes, it does come with Xenon HID projector headlamps.
