Eh, who knows. I hope the EVO's doin' bad in rally doesn't mean that it can't tear it up on the track. I really don't wanna get myself into an STi, but it's still an option if the EVO can't perform. I want the RSII, that baby would be nice. Come on EVO!

I'm sure that everyone will be pleasantly surprised with the Evo that we get. Even if it is detuned, it's only so the car doesn't blow up (driving habits are way different in Japan) You can always upgrade it. Also, if anyone here is contemplating Evo or WRX STI, maybe you should join a Subaru forum. After all, this is a Mitsubishi Enthuiast's site.

Actually, I am part of other enthusiast sites such as clubwrx, i-club, superhonda, and another evolution site.

Don't ask about superhonda, I sometimes post there to get a less biased response to some questions such as "EVO vs STi" etc.

Yeah, I joined all these so I can get different viewpoints on different cars.

Sorry, "timing of the gas" isn't quite the difference. They drive cars far less miles a year than we do, so an equivalent car from Japan will receive more stress than it's US counterpart. Also, the US is more about comfort than performance, so I wouldn't be suprised if the spring rates for the suspension wasn't exactly the same as in Japan.
