Modifying a stock EvoVIII

When you begin to modify, where is the best place to start? Which intake is the best for the Evo?

Im pretty much a NooB myself, so basically just use the SEARCH button. Don't waste a thread on something that has been covered many times!!

basic bolt ons should satisfy you for a while atleast. I suggest start with 3 inch turboback exhaust, MBC, boost gauge and a ecu flash. Cams are also a good bang for the buck. Like the other guys said the search button is your friend

exhaust first, if you do it right, you'll drop a second off of your time, if you know how to drive.

the intake seems to be a waste unless you are looking for the sound. turbo back exhaust is the big one that comes to mind.

I did a dynoflash and manual boost controller first. Fairly inexpensive, and gives good results. The exhaust helps a lot.
As for conical intakes, I tried two different ones, and they did not help.
Good Luck
