My guess would be that it's simply the pictures that make the wheels look different when in fact they are the same. Simply a guess but let's think about it. What advantage/disadavantage would there be when talking about wheels? DOT issues? I doubt it. Cost issues? I seriously doubt the wheels are the issue. Does this sound logical? I think it does.

The wheels are the same. I think it's the pictures and or the light reflecting off of them.

Look on the bottom spoke of the wheel and you will see the black text with the blue symbol. SAME WHEEL. Quit getting all scared.
