Perhaps I'm being a tad too worried, but...

I went to the EOC Willow Springs track event over the weekend with my new MR. First time newbie and had a blast. Anyway, after my last run, I noticed that while pushing my clutch in while the car is moving feels a bit "bumpy". It doesn't push in as smooth as before. I guess the only way to describe it is that it feels like it's a bit rough or ribbed. Other than that, it feels fine when engaged and everything, it's just disengaging it that feels strange.

Anyone care to comment or perhaps put my mind at ease? I only ask because I've had cars with over 100K miles on them and a stock clutch and never really felt that.

 

Mine does that too.

 

Mine started doing that about a year ago too. Sometimes it is noticeable and sometimes it is not. Hmmph??

Anyways it seems like the RPM wants to float at times when clutch is in. I dont' know what it is but makes shifting weiord at times.
