will disconnecting my ECU do any harm?
A friend of mine wants to borrow my ECU so that he can reset his ECU on his car also. If I lend it to him and put it back in my car later will it do any harm to my car?

its not gonna do any harm to it not unless he changes something in your ecu like a reflash.since you have a usdm evo i dont thnk their interchangeable since youre ecu is set for your car.

Plus you gotta start the car and let it idle for about 15 minutes after resetting the ECU...otherwise you might have driveability problems.
