Is this a good deal for 2004 evo 8?

I seriously doubt they raised the price of the car by THAT much in one year, especially since it is technically 2 years now that the 2005 models are out. I think he'll be able to get a much better deal if he shops around.

Is is the awd version of lsd?
if that is after tax then its a good deal. i payed 36,200 after tax for my 05 gsr with SSL. if 32,800 is after tax then thats like 30,000 with SSL before tax versus sticker being like 33000. but if thast before tax thats a normal price and a 2005 could be purchased for that.
Man..did you go to Stohlmans or something? They had an Apex Silver 04' EVO 8 stickered at 32 but, the salesman told me that they would take an offer for it since 05's were coming in. You could probably get it close between RS and GSR price.

I've bought two Evo's now, dude. I know what a good deal is on one, and you seem a bit too quickly to accept the advertised "price" as the absolute lowest you can get one for.

Alright, he said he wasn't even interested in the friggin' radio system or sunroof portion. He's not interested in having to pay the $2700 premium for stupid stuff, so his logic is right along side mine:
Pay only for what you want.
It isn't mandatory that you pay the full premium price for OPTIONS, unless you are just one of the many sheep out there.

Regardless of whether he wants the options or not, it comes with this particular car he asked us about. Did he ask about a GSR without the SSL package? No.

I want to buy this place just so I can have the front door so I'll give you $300 bucks."

I just know that when I bought my first Evo, I didn't negotiate the price because I had the car reserved for me for over 6 months while I was out of the country. This was also when the Evo was the "latest and greatest" and it was damn near impossible to even find one in the color you wanted, let alone at the price you wanted. The second time around, I bought exactly what I wanted, nothing that I didn't. Except that my Evo still came with carpet and air conditioning. I would have much rather been able to get one without that stuff.
That's the difference between me and you, and us and the rest of the world. We each have our own tastes and wants. I offered him advice on where he could go to find a better deal and better options, and somehow that ended up getting twisted into this whole "I'll buy a house just to get the front door" mess that I just read.
Oh well. No hard feelings here.
