Get a gorilla bar from Murry's or something. You barily have to pull and it breaks free

I just use a bigass 3/4 or 1/2 socket wrench

Make sure you torque them back properly.. as it can cause warped rotors

I think you mean use a 6-pt socket instead of the 12-pt ones. Whenever using a breaker bar to crack loose stuck nuts/bolts, ALWAYS use 6-pt sockets!

And as someone mentioned above, leverage is the key. A breaker bar should be more than adequate to crack stuck lug nuts loose. If that doesn't work, stick a long pipe at the end of your breaker bar and give it all you got!

BTW, how tight do you tighten your lugnuts? Spec is 73 ft-lbs +/- 7. I never have any problems cracking mine loose.

well i could get a lug off easily with a long pipe for more torque, but the problem now is (i have gorilla lock nuts) 2 of them are sorta stripped. i've heard of welding a socket onto the tip and then taking it off, any other "home made" ways to take it off???

If you can take a pic of the lug nut I can help you out...

Do you have a dremel tool and or air impact wrench?

If you are using the stock tool provided by mitsubishi..... just stand on it. Place the tool in the proper position over the lug and jump up and down on the handle... it WILL come off. I had the same problem.

lol I've seen little "kits" for stuff like that...

I still say the dremel is your friend.. I've got a diamond/carbon bit that was around 15-20 bucks.. it will cut ANYTHING.
